The former XBMC, now Kodi, has finally landed on iPhone and iPad to offer us an incredible media center to watch movies, series, and sports online

For quite some time, iOS users have been demanding for their iPhones and iPads the possibility to use the best media center in the world at present to be able to make the most of movies, TV series, music, entertainment programs, and streams with a wide range of online contents. Present on Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, and many more platforms, it has now appeared on Apple's mobile operating system with its new version 18.4 Leia.

Movies, series, and music free on your iPhone

We're obviously talking about Kodi, previously known as XBMC or Xbox Media Center, the application capable of turning any device into a multimedia center from where we can search for and browse through videos, photos, podcasts, and music without any effort. All the latter spiced up with the use of third-party plug-ins and add-ons that offer us access to an unlimited world of entertainment.

The most popular open-source media center in the world.

Unfortunately, installing this media center on an iPhone isn't as easy as doing so on an Android by means of an APK. Here, we need to get hold of the IPA file, which we offer you after pressing the Download button and use Cydia to install that file on our mobile device. In any case, despite how tedious the process is, it's worthwhile to be able to make use of such a multimedia player with its corresponding extensions that offer us a shortcut to some of our favorite online video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo.
