If you have an Amazon Fire Stick, you can install Kodi on it. Even though the media center is not available in the Amazon application market integrated into the device, it is still possible to install it using the Android application.
First, you need to adjust the device settings so it lets you install applications from unknown sources. Go to the interface and search at the top of the screen for the Settings option that grants access to the different settings.
In the settings, select the My Fire TV option.Access My Fire TV
From all the options available in the list, go to Developer options.Access the developer options
Now, you will see on your screen two options, ADB Debugging and Apps from unknown sources. Check that both settings are in the On position, just click them to activate them.Enable both options on the list
Go back to the Home screen of your Amazon Fire TV. Among all the available apps, find Downloader. This is a download manager with an integrated web browser.Downloader application amongst all the market’s apps
Once you enter the app, you will see the Download button to add it to your collection of installed apps, click it.Download the app to your Amazon Fire Stick TV
A few seconds later, Downloader will be successfully installed on your device and the button above will have become the Open button. Click it to enter the app. You can also find now the Downloader icon in your installed apps menu inside the Home screen in case you prefer to enter from there.Press Open to open your new app
The first time you install and use Downloader, you will see a pop-up window with a small user guide. Click on OK to enter the app.Press OK to access Downloader for the very first time
Use the URL bar at the top to enter the address of our website (www.malavida.com). Once done, click on the Go button.Type in Malavida’s URL and press Go
You will access directly to the Android section. Check the top for a search engine. Type Kodi and press the magnifying glass on the right side of the search box to find the app.Use the search tool to find Kodi
Kodi will appear as the first result of your search. Click it to access its review.Press on Kodi in the search results
Now, you will have the green Download button visible on the screen to download the APK. Click it and click it again in the next windows to download the file.Press the green Download button
Once the file download is complete, you will see a new data window about Kodi. Look for the Install button in the lower right corner and click it.Press Install to run the installation
After a few seconds, the app will be installed, and you can click on Open in the same corner to open Kodi.Press Open to open Kodi
The Kodi icon will also have been added to your menu of installed apps on the Amazon Fire TV Home screen. From now on, you can open the app directly from this icon.Kodi’s icon visible amongst our Amazon Fire TV’s apps
Now, all you have to do is import your multimedia content or install add-ons to enjoy all its options in your device.
