WhatsApp is the default communication tool for millions of users. Although WhatsApp is constantly receiving updates with new features, the company has never included a scheduling tool for sending messages. Therefore, it is impossible to ask WhatsApp to deliver content at a specific date and time and also to do so in an automated manner. If for some reason you need this feature, you will have no choice but to use third-party applications.

Preliminary considerations concerning permissions and privacy

In this article, we are going to show you how to use two applications to schedule the sending of messages via WhatsApp. However, we must make a few notes before showing you the step-by-step process.

You should know that both tools will request many permissions to perform their functions. After granting permissions, both Wasavi and SKEDit will have full access to WhatsApp and will be able to control your conversations. The purpose of this is to automatically send messages or other content. We are not aware that these applications have caused problems for users. However, we must warn you of this fact, because if you are very concerned about your privacy, you may prefer not to use them.

Schedule sending messages in WhatsApp with Wasavi

Having clear that the applications we are talking about here are going to ask for sensitive permissions that may affect your privacy, we start by talking about Wasavi.

After installing and starting it up, tap Allow to begin.

Type the message in the text field below and tap the send button.

At the end of the countdown, Wasavi will open WhatsApp, tap on the corresponding conversation, write the message, and send it. If you have the phone in front of you, you will be able to view how the process is done automatically.

Schedule messages in WhatsApp with SKEDit

A good alternative to Wasavi is SKEDit which allows you to do something very similar.

After installation, you will be prompted to register. You do not need to do this if you check the box below and tap Skip.

It is also possible to ask it to warn you before sending the message. Save the programmed message with the confirmation button that you will see in the upper right corner of the screen.

With this application, the process is executed in the same way. SKEDit, thanks to accessibility permissions, can control WhatsApp by performing the appropriate screen taps to send the message.
