Animal Crossing is a video game franchise developed by Nintendo and launched for video consoles such as Nintendo 3DS or Wii. The Japanese company, just like it did with Mario Bros. and Fire Emblem Heroes has adapted it to mobile, both for Android and iPhone. It goes by the name of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

Nintendo's saga lands on iPhone and iPad

You probably already know all about Animal Crossing and essentially how to play, although the mobile version may be slightly different. Here we'll also interact with anthropomorphic animals but now making the most of the connectivity possibilities offered by mobile devices.

Pocket Camp joins titles of the likes of New Leaf or Wild Wild, which all belong to the same series.

The fact is that we'll arrive at a camp that we'll have to run, and that involves customizing and improving different elements, starting off with its facilities. For such purpose, we'll have to do errands for other characters in the game to be able to get hold of materials and objects for our use.

  • Complete tasks for other animals: carry them out and earn rewards.
  • Craft materials and objects and increase the level of your facilities.
  • Hundreds of different items to be used at your camp.
  • Since it's an online game, you'll be able to invite other players to visit your camp and you visit theirs.

This is a life simulation and management game similar to The Sims, and as usual in this kind of video game, you'll be able to customize plenty of its elements and give your own style to both the characters and the environment.
