Not so long ago, Linux was an operating system that didn't at all get along with multimedia files. Nevertheless, as of late there are quite a few programs that want to deal with compiling, organizing and playing any kind of multimedia file, and gmusicbrowser is a really complete one.

With this software it is possible to organize and play files in OGG Vorbis, MP3 and FLAC format, it also allows to edit any tag, furthermore, it also includes some plug-ins with which to play music from last.fm or search for song lyrics.

The interface is somewhat complicated, but as soon as the user gets used to it, it is extremely useful, because it shows the covers of each album and even groups MP3 songs by album or artist. Moreover, gmusicbrowser is developed to manage really big libraries, with more than 10,000 songs.

And of course, among its features we will find the possibility to play, extract and convert an Audio CD to MP3 to later easily store it and tag it in its multimedia library.
