Reading will always be about books. However, new technologies offer us very cool new media to convey stories, such as the app at hand. Friendzoned 2 is (obviously) the second part of a text message story app in which you choose how the adventure will unfold.

If you have been around a while, you probably remember those books that became so popular in which you were faced with decisions that you had to make to continue reading. Depending on your choice, the story unfolded very differently. Such stories are commonplace on the app market nowadays, and this game is a good example.

Take part in a story full of twists, in which your choices are everything.

Your story begins a year after Eva's mysterious disappearance when you discover that she talked to a stranger. The setting of the entire adventure is quite simple, but also very cool and effective for this kind of interactive "novel." You will have to read line by line as if they were real text messages. Also, at certain times, you will have to think of what you want to answer in the conversation, and the story will form according to the choices you make.

Both the proposal and the setting are very exciting, and you will be hooked on the story right away. The downside is spelling, which is not as careful as that of a book, although we could be naïve and blame this on the game’s great realism. Or do you write every comma and every period when you text?
