If we learned something from Tom Hanks in Cast Away, that's that if you're lost in the middle of the sea you only need determination, some luck, and a ball to talk to in order to not lose your mind. What would you do if you were stranded in the middle of the sea on a stingy raft that's only equipped with a hook and some rope? That's more or less what RAFT Online offers us in the same direction as other survival games.
Survive on a raft.
Our magical hook will help us to get through this traumatic experience. And no, we're not talking about Captain Hook's hand replacement. We'll have to try to catch lost items drifting around the sea that will help us to expand our raft (until we build a huge mansion), to eat and drinks, and to face up against sharks in battles in which we'll have to try to be victorious without losing any body parts. Build nets and try to catch fish and seaweed that you can plant, collect wood and build furniture.
The more you build, the more you'll be able to build. From simple rotten wood floating around the sea to tools that will help you create a world in which your only limit is your imagination. And all the latter, in a realistic atmosphere with scenarios that change from night to day.
At beta stage
Although we can download and install this game for free from our favorite app store, the title is still at beta stage. Each server can host over 50 players but it still gets overloaded because it's really hard to find room on a server. Once the app starts working at full throttle, you'll be able to play online against your friends. In the meantime, you'll just have to wait on your raft.
