Snapchat's memories section is where all the photos and videos you create with the editor are stored. As long as you keep them there, the content will be safe and synchronized on all the devices you are using the application on. However, the backup can be configured to automatically back up the stories you upload to your profile.

To get started, go to your profile and open Snapchat settings by pressing the cogwheel button. It is located in the upper right corner of the screen.

Open the settingsOpen the settings

Scroll through the list of options until you find the Memories section.

Check the Smart backup option. By doing so, you will activate the copy with mobile data. This way, even if you are not connected to a wifi network, your snaps will be uploaded to the cloud.

Once you have done this, Snapchat will automatically save all the snaps you send to your story, even when you do not have a Wifi connection. With this configuration, a backup copy of most of the images and videos you post will be created. But what about the snaps you send via chat? To save them in the memories section, tap on the Save button in the lower-left corner, in the edit section.
