If you need a distro that allows multimedia work, Ubuntu Studio manages to adapt to any user, without needing to install any unwanted software. You can choose between all these programs and many more:

  • Video: CinePaint, PiTiVi, Kino, Stopmotion or VLC Media Player.
  • Audio: Ardour, Audacity, JAMin, LilyPond or Mixxx, among others.
  • Image: Agave, Blender, Enblend, FontForge or GIMP, among others.
Requirements and additional information:
  • You can virtualize the image with any appropriate program or run the installation by burning the ISO onto an optical disc or pendrive.
  • The download includes a compressed folder with an ISO image for 32 and 64-bit systems.
