Behold the Kickmen

Behold the Kickmen is a rather peculiar football game. Forget about classic titles like FIFA, here you can also play matches but with a story behind them

What would you think about a football game if you were told that its developer isn't at all interested in this sport? He doesn't even understand the game. However, for some reason he has managed to come up with a game that's a hit on Steam: Behold the Kickmen.

A soccer game created by somebody that doesn't understand or even have any interest in the beautiful game.

Its creator states that it all started off as a silly joke on Twitter that led to an action-packed football game. And that's how we got to the most incorrect simulation of this sport that you could ever have imagined. It's a single-player game in which, apart from playing original matches, you'll be able to take part in the story mode where you can make all kinds of silly and dull decisions. Become the best player and win a trophy to put on your fireplace to show it off to your guests. As well as managing your team, the functions you can carry out in this game are rather limited, although you don't really need anything else:

  • Kick.
  • Pass.
  • Tackle.
  • Move around the pitch.
  • Score goals.

The least exciting and most incorrent football simulation game of the year.

Alternatives for anti-football fans

Being a game created by somebody that's not too keen on this sport has its advantages. One of them is that it ignores many of the game's rules, and another is that it has been conceived for users like the developer. If you want to download this game to try out it but you're not really interested in this sport, you've got the chance to apply a skin that sets the matches in a dystopian and gory future, creating a different way to play within the same title.
